The Air Brake Association is a not-for-profit educational organization founded in 1893. The ABA’s mission is to educate, engage, and establish an open dialog to advance safety and, ultimately, the success of the rail industry.  In addition to ensuring the ongoing preservation of vital technical information related to air brakes, the forum provided by the ABA has allowed for dissemination of knowledge and new ideas, both of which have played an important and integral part in the development and advancement of technology throughout the history of the rail industry.

The ABA membership includes people from all sectors of the railways industry, and brings together key resources, stakeholders, and interested parties from all levels and disciplines.  For more information on membership see the membership form below.

When you register to attend Railway Interchange 2019, please select the RSI Educational & Technical Training Conference and then select one of the groups as your Primary Track. The cost to attend the is $325 if you register before August 15.  RSI Education & Technical Conferenceattendees will have the opportunity to attend any of the concurrent sessions, not just your Primary Track. Registration also includes access to all of the exhibits (indoor and outdoor), expo hall meals and receptions, and the keynote address featuring  Vernice Armour, a motivational speaker who served as America's first African American female combat pilot.
